I recently submitted this video for a contest in a Facebook Native American Flute Musician page. The theme was water and due to the extremely cold temperatures I had to find a place indoors. It was weird randomly playing, actually got nervous even though people that were around were just doing their own thing. The only equipment that was used …

I was invited to play at Lisa Rahilly‘s business Mindful Inspirations. During the event I played a number of songs and had a discussion about the Native American Style flute with all who attended. This all happened while enjoying some delicious homemade goodies which Lisa made. I hope that Lisa has me again as it was a very positive experience.

I had the honor of playing a Mid-D flute owner by a fellow musician at the cultural event in Rochester and fell in love. The flute was created by Colyn Peterson with Woodland Voices Flutes.  I contacted them and he worked with me to get my own. I normally don’t buy a flute online with someone I haven’t met yet …

Gathering of the People’s Pow Wow at Genesee, Pennsylvania

BrittanyJuly 29, 2017February 2, 2018Performances Leave a comment

I was invited to perform at the Gathering of the Peoples Pow Wow in Pennsylvania. It was a very windy day which turned out to be a challenge however, I enjoyed sharing this beautiful instrument with new people. This was more of a casual setting but it was the perfect setting for improvisational music. I hope to return in 2018.

I performed at the recent Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire. A couple of local library’s teamed up to bring the fourth Mini Maker faire during the end of March.
