2016 Busk & Balter
I played at the 2016 Busk & Balter in Naples, NY. This event was hosted by Mike Joseph and is based on the idea of impromptu playing in the streets. Performers were assigned to play in front of stores. I played for 30 minutes and was in front of the Artizann’s shop where I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Suzanne. There was a keyboard player who was also assigned to the same store. We worked together and took turns as it was a very hot day. We even got to play a little impromptu duets together. This was the first time I’ve gotten to do some stream performing as well as played without any practice with a different instrument. It was a fun day and I hope to play again in 2017.
